LOVE THY GOD NOW
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." Matthew 22:37.
Where does your heart linger today? Is it in the scroll of a screen or in the quiet presence of the Almighty Creator?
Walk in His love!
When the world demands your attention and your focus feels divided, listen to the call of the greatest commandment. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." Matthew 22:37.
The same God who breathed life into you desires to be the center of your universe, not a footnote in your busy schedule. Does your calendar reflect that He is truly first? We must ask ourselves if our time and energy belong to Him or if we are merely giving Him the leftovers of our day.
Matthew 22:38, 39
True obedience is found in the way we treat the people around us. "Love your neighbor as yourself." The second command is just as vital as the first. It requires us to look past our own needs and see the needs of those we encounter.
1 John 4:20-21
Are you putting others ahead of yourself, even the ones who are difficult to love or those with whom you struggle to get along? Loving our enemies and praying for those who persecute us is the mark of a heart transformed by grace.
Matthew 5:44
What holds you back from total devotion? Let every distraction fall away as you seek His Kingdom first. Let your interactions be seasoned with salt and overflowing with the kindness of Christ. Choose to live a life defined by radical love, putting God above all and others before yourself. The path is narrow, but His Spirit provides the strength to walk it with joy.
Heavenly Father,
Align my heart to yours today. Help me to love You above all else and to extend that same grace and love to my neighbors, even those who are difficult to reach. Soften my spirit towards those I struggle with, and let Your light shine through all my interactions.
We pray in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
