RISE IN VICTORY

Rise in his victory!
When weariness tries to pin you down and the flight feels endless, hear the triumphant cry of the one God delivered. " I love you, O Lord, my strengthThe Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, for by you I can run against a troop and by my God I can leap over a wall. Psalm 18, 1-2, 29.
The same God who thundered from heaven and pulled David out of deep waters is your strength today. He does not leave the weary to limp along. He makes their feet feel like feet of a deer and sets them secure on the heights.

Victory belongs to the Lord, not to our fading energy. His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation.

Shouts of joy and triumph already resound in the tents of the righteous because the right hand of the Lord does valiantly.

What opposes you cannot stand against the one who rises on your behalf. Let God arise and let every enemy scatter.

So lift your head, weary warrior. The battle is his, the strength is his, and the triumph is already secured. Run, leap, stand tall on the heights. He is prepared. Your God is one and he shares the victory with you.
Dear God,
Thank You for working all things together for our good. We ask for soft and trusting hearts to embrace the changes You bring to our lives. Help us to walk boldly through the changes you put in place, always trusting in your love and in your tender mercies. In the name of our Lord and Savior do we pray, Amen.
